Access to CME instruments is by default restricted, and enabled on a case-by-case basis per request.
Due to regulatory requirements, we are required to gather additional information about you and your intended trading strategy towards CME.
Below you will find all the information necessary to complete this process.
Step 1 - Download the required form here: Request App Access to CME
Step 2 - Fill in the form with all relevant information.
Note: The more detailed information you supply, the faster we are able to process your application. However, if you feel some of the fields are not relevant for your app/use-case, you may provide a short explanation or "N/A".
Step 3 - Log into https://www.saxotrader.com/ or https://www.saxoinvestor.com/
Step 4 - click Support.
Step 5 - click Contact us, and Write to us
Step 6 - select Account support
Step 7 - Select Subscriptions.
Note that access to delayed prices from CME itself via OpenAPI does not require a subscription
Step 8 - Attach the form you filled out in step 2, and put the following information in the form:
- Name of exchange: "CME"
- Ticker/Symbol Code: "CME"
- Additional Description: "Attention OpenAPI team: Request for OpenAPI Access to CME Products".
Step 9 - Click Submit Request.
Step 10 - After submitting your request, the support case will be closed immediately, and following feedback will come from openapisupport@saxobank.com once processed.
